We met him a few years before we needed to sell our house because our new condo took four years from the time we bought it until we moved in. Mukhtar checked in we me regularly by paying a friendly visit when he had news to share on recent listings or sales in our area. I never told him up front that he had the listing for sure but we were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge; friends and relatives wanted us to use their agents but we listed with Mukhtar. We first met Mukhtar at one of his open houses. Not only did we like the house but we were thoroughly impressed with his open house that he had setup. We looked at other houses that same day and decided we wanted to see this house again so we went back the following day to his second open house and Mukhtar instantly recognized us from the open house he had the day before and he also remembered us by name which blew me away. He didn’t know that we weren’t working with another realtor until after we were done our second viewing, but regardless he treated us like we were his own client during both visits, gave us our space and didn’t follow us around the house but he was close by and was available if we had questions. To me this was very important because I can’t stand sales people who won’t let you have a conversation alone with your spouse while you’re looking around. After that we decided that we would use Mukhtar as our realtor to do this transaction. Even though he was working for both the seller and buyer on the transaction he was professional and went by the book as you would expect a realtor should. He worked his butt off right until 15 minutes before our offer expired to get the seller to agree to our offer.
After it was all said and done we needed someone to help us sell our house and since we saw how he was with selling someone else’s house we thought he was the man to do the job and get us the results we needed. He again had a fantastic open house for us and was able to sell our house in 4 days over asking.
To this day he continues to check in to see how things are going even though he knows we aren’t going to be selling or buying for a long time, which I think is a nice touch. If you’re looking to buy or sell your house don’t hesitate to call Mukhtar. He treats you like you’re family and not a number or a paycheque. He will work his butt off to get you what you are looking for. He’s a standup guy who is professional, honest and a hard worker which is hard to find in the real estate industry. I would not hesitate to use Mukhtar again or recommend him to anyone who is selling or buying and that even includes family.

On first meeting I was very impressed with Mukhtar Aidarus, which by the way was the old school door to door canvassing routine. He presented himself in a very professional manor, very well researched with the neighbourhood and respectfully listened to my comments of the markets’ projection. At that point in time I was not ready to sell however two years later, he was the first agent I called. From the start I knew he would work hard and he did, always professional, punctual, respectful, investing great efforts in extensively advertising and promoting the listing. The house sold within 4 days, Mukhtar certainly brought in the customer traffic but the house sold itself, 15 years of continuous upgrades, pride of ownership, one of the bigger homes for the area. In the fall of 2019, my parents were thinking of downsizing from their home that they had lived for 38 years. They were unsure of what they wanted. Mukhtar was very helpful in first finding a condo in their desired neighbourhood. House was put on the market and sold same day 100% asking price.
